The Walla Walla County Democrats hold meetings on a regular basis. Newcomers are always welcome! You will find specific dates listed on our calendar, but the meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are both in person and virtual. We meet in person in the board room of the Walla Walla School District Building, 364 S. Park St., Walla Walla. Zoom meeting links are regularly sent to our email list. The Supreme Court is prepared to end the constitutional right to abortion by overturning Roe v. Wade. We’re prepared to fight like hell to protect our rights. Join us for an event in downtown Walla Walla to show that people support abortion access and we won’t back down! Make a sign, bring a friend, and spread the word!
On Saturday, May 28, students from several Wa-Hi clubs are holding a vigil to mourn those who were murdered at Robb Elementary School and in support of the families of the victims. It will be at 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Square Park (116 E Main St). The public is encouraged to attend.
